Individual Yoga Therapy, which includes a personalised yoga programme, can be of immense help with many conditions – physical, emotional or mental. All health conditions can benefit from Transformation Hatha Yoga therapy exercises. We believe in making the Yoga exercises fit the individual, so no experience is necessary and people of any level of mobility and any condition can be helped.

Individual Yoga Therapy appointments

Clients for Transformation Hatha Yoga Therapy will receive an initial consultation appointment which will include any/all of the following that are appropriate –

  • Assessment of their condition and needs
  • Posture analysis
  • Demonstration, teaching and trial of therapeutic exercises with assistance from the yoga therapist
  • Postural correction techniques
  • Exercises for pain management/relief
  • Breathing/relaxation techniques
  • Explanation of benefits of techniques/exercises
  • Opportunity for questions

Suggested time frame for initial appointment:  1 -1½ hour.

A follow-up appointment will then be scheduled. This second appointment will include –

  • Receiving a personalised tailor-made yoga therapy programme
  • Demonstration, teaching and explanation of this
  • Opportunity for client to practice the above with assistance from the therapist
  • Opportunity for questions or any other help

Suggested time frame for first follow-up appointment:  1 -1½ hour.

Subsequent follow-up appointments will be made subject to each client’s needs and will include –

  • Monitoring of the client’s condition in relation to their exercise programme
  • Any necessary changes/alterations/additions to their programme
  • Re-evaluation of the client’s progress
  • Opportunity for questions or any other help

Suggested time frame for future follow-up appointments:  30 minutes – 1 hour
